Why Our Work Matters
Today, we face a climate crisis that requires immediate and collective action. Hawaii’s location in the tropics and as one of the most isolated places in the world makes it more vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
On top of our environmental challenges, we also see income, gender, and other inequalities negatively impacting our community and our ability to solve these problems. We believe in the interconnectedness and intersectionality of sustainability, justice, and equity, and we do our work with that in mind.
